My iPhone 4s has been unable to receive calls and when I call someone with an iPhone 5 I get a message saying I have to put in a credit card. When she call me with her iphone, she gets another weird message. I can't get email or go on the web while out with my phone. What is going on? This has been going on all day and others I speak to with Apple AND Verizon say they are having trouble with their phones as well. What is going on??

It's important that we make sure your service is working, Ro1916. What is your zip code? Does your phone show signal? Did you recently update the iOS?

It turns out that someone had my phone number changed on me. I logged into
my account last night and it said that I had "changed my number today"
which I did not! I got tech and fraud involved and my phone is working
today but this is the 2nd time I've had bizarre problems with my phone and
I'm a little concerned. So it's working for now. Fraud and tech both said
that my number had been changed "many" times yesterday.

That's very alarming, Ro1916. I'm glad you were able to work with our Fraud team and get to the bottom of this.
