Cannot use more than 2 gift cards to pay for phone on verizon web site

So I'm trying to purchase the new Iphone 12 for one of my existing line and I wanted to pay for the phone outright.  Using the verizon website I was able to add the phone to check out and when it comes time to enter payment, if you read the small fine print it says that "in order to enter any giftcards you must first provide your credit card so that it can charge your credit card in case your gift card comes back invalid".  So I entered my credit card and then boom I see 2 links for Gift Card 1 and Gift Card 2.  The problem is, I have 4 total gift cards to use in order to coverage the entire amount of the phone.  So my questions are:

1.  Why is Verizon making it so hard for its subscribers to make use of these gift cards?

2.  How do I use all 4 of my gift cards to pay for this phone?

Captainjjvu, it's great to see that you are in the market for a new iPhone 12. Gift cards are an awesome way to assist in paying for a new purchase. Since there are more gift cards to be used than we allow online, you will need to do this transaction in a store. Or you may use those two gift cards on line and use the other two gift cards to pay your bill when it's time. Did I explain this information okay?

The answer is unacceptable. I find it incredible that Verizon forces people to go into the store DURING COVID-19 because they won't allow you to use more than 2 gift cards online.  I'm sorry but the true test of a companies desire to do what is right and be mindful of the countries health and well being isn't shown in one time flashy headlines but in the continuous effort to be better.

I am agreed 100% you should able to use all of your Gift Cards way you want it but not Verizon way!!!!

In store they say they CAN NOT take more than one gift card.  Verizon. insists on sending VERIZON gift cards but then you can't use them even for verizon products.
