Change number of answering rings?

Customer care has told me that changing the number of answering rings before going to voicemail is model-specific and cannot be done on the iPhone 6 plus . It rings too long for me and I want to change it to 4 instead of 10! Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks much!

I can understand how the long ring times can hinder you from doing other things. You can always change the amount of time the phone rings by ignoring the call. This can be done at any time during the incoming call.
