Chiming sounds

I have my iPhone 5s plugged into the ca charger and I am getting rapid chiming sounds with no alert message as to what it means. The battery charging icon is flashing and not charging.

I had this yesterday in my car. Are you using an OEM Apple charger? In my case I pulled the Lightning charger out and flipped it around and it stopped. It is sometimes a bad cable. I've had some challenges wtih Lightning cables fraying. Generally speaking, with a new cable it resolves the issue. Also look at the contacts on the Lightning cable to ensure there isn't anything on it where it inserts into the iPhone. That sound is def annoying. lol
