Damaged phone. Help

What will Verizon do about a phone that is my son in laws that just got ran over? It is damaged beyond help. There is money still owed on the phone...on my acct...and no insurance.  Thank you!

We're here to help! I would recommend either purchasing a device at retail value, or looking into local repair for immediate solutions, if upgrading is not an option that is available currently. AustinL_VZW

Verizon isnt responsible for phones, and does nothing.    You can buy any compatible phone and move the sim card.  You must pay off the destroyed phone.  You can pay it off lump sum and upgrade to replace the destroyed phone, or you can continue to pay on it and simply use a phone you have purchased at full retail price to replace it.
