For the last two months I’ve been charged overage and have had my WHOLE 5 gigabytes used within days, this month it took two or three days before I got the notification that I do not have any more data, so I’ve been paying $90 (with overage) every month to just use a phone with texting but no data, if this is not fixed I will be leaving very soon to join another carrier on their line. If I could get AT LEAST a return on the extremely unfair $15 overage fee that would help me reconsider but I’m tired of paying extra for no data for the whole month.

Marval555, I would also be concerned if I were continually billed overages each month. Allow us to get to the bottom of your data concerns as we certainly do not want to lose you as valued customer. Have you recently made any changes to your phone when you started experiencing data overages? Do you use mobile hotspot on your phone?
Couple of things.
Single 5GB plan has a completely free option to prevent overages called safety mode. This is something you can turn on yourself within the My Verizon app.
Go Unlimited is $80 and Beyond is $90. Paying for overages when unlimited is an option doesn't make much financial sense. Extra $20 alone to get basic unlimited is worth it if data is a problem. That's only 66 cents a day.
