Defective Verizon Ellipses Jetpack sent at start of Covid and they didn't care

Due to Covid we had to work from home so ordered the Ellipses Jetpack for $99 plus taxes and signed up for plan.  The Jetpack never worked would sometimes connect and then nothing.  After weeks of chatting and calling and getting the run around, hours were limited, Verizon stores were closed or by appointment; I was told to bad you've past the return window.  The last call took seven (I'm not exaggerating) hours, transferred 4 times, and the last person I spoke to said they were a manager, not only was she rude, she had audacity to suggest I sell the equipment.  Really?  Sell a defective piece of equipment to another person?  I wasn't about to scam another person like they did to me.

I've been a Verizon client since 2012 when my daughter went to college in upstate New York, and it was the only working service.  We have multiple lines, and an iPad on their plans, but I guess they don't value the customer.

I was so disgusted with them and now started buying our iPhones from Apple.  Apple sells the extended warranty and insurance; a one time cost.  Apple's customer service is better too!

Dunno why the last part was needed, Verizon doesn't make anything off phones and Asurion is who handles the insurance. If the jetpack didn't initially work, it should have been returned right away. Covid or not, you can still drop off a package at a Fedex/UPS instead of going to a Verizon store.
