My wife and I share the same plan (two phone numbers). When our phones are in close proximity (within the same house) and a call comes in to one of our phones, they both ring. How do I stop the double ringing?
This is FaceTime calling because you have the same Apple ID. You can turn off FaceTime calling in settings.
you should also consider each of you having you own Apple ID and use family sharing to share itunes purchases.
family sharing is new with iOS 8.
