Emails won't delete from iPhone 6

I use email on my iphone6 and a desktop.  When I need to delete emails from my phone, they reappear within an hour, unread.  How do I permanently delete them?

I have the iPhone 6 and love it for email use PAUHAR54 , so I can understand the frustration of having them reappear when you delete them. Do you delete them on your desktop? Have you checked the email settings on your phone? Do you put them in Junk or trash? What email are you using?
