Group Messaging Issue iPhone 5

I am having issues with my iPhone 5, current version 7.0.3. While on the phone I do not receive group messages. Once the call is ended, I will get several texts. iMessaging works but not not SMS or MMS. Any ideas? In settings everything is turned on.

Hey there smuellers,

I'm sorry for the issues that you are having with the iPhone 5. The iPhone does not support talking on the phone and using data at the same time. Group messages and picture messages are sent over the data network so you do need a solid data connection to send and receive them. This is way when you hang up the phone all the group messages come through. iMessage will still work if you are connected to WiFi. The phone is working as it should.
