I have the same trouble. I`m from Russia, bought iphone 4s on ebay. All i know that ESN isn`t clean and it locked by Verizon. Want can i do fo using this phone?

If it isent a clean Esn then you have a phone someone either hasn't dropped it from there account or owes money to Verizon wireless so your phone won't work untill cleaned up. Then you have to be on Verizon for more then 2 months and in good standing.

All Verizon iPhones come locked or cant be unlocked except iPhone 5. You need to have service to get unlocked.
