How do I get my device to start ringing again?

My phone won't ring. Any ideas

Check the silent switch on the side of the phone and see if it is on silent mode. The colored switch should be pointed towards the top bezel of the phone, if the switch is on silent, there will be a red line at the top where the switch should be.
