How do I get rid of triplicate contacts on iPhone 6s contacts and in Verizon iCloud.

Contacts multiplying is never any fun. Let's work together to get this fixed. When did this start happening? Are you using any other option to back up your contacts (i.e. iCloud)?  Were you able to confirm by logging into Verizon Cloud that the contacts have multiplied there?
