How do I stop the internet from flashing back and forth between 2 screens

When I go to the internet on my phone it flashes back and forth between pages and never stops.   I tried to restart it but it didn't fix it.

What do you mean exactly that it "flashes back and forth between 2 pages/screens"?? Are you meaning that it alternates what is displayed on two internet tabs??

Just trying to clarify exactly what it is doing so I or someone else can hopefully assist....

You've come to the right place for help JASMD23. I use my phone to browse the Internet so I know how important it is for it to work properly. Let's get to the bottom of this.

Please clarify what you mean by the phone flashes back and forth between pages, so we have a better understanding of what's going on. How long has this been going on? Does it happen when accessing a certain site? Have you tried closing the internet pages or clearing the temporary Internet files http://vz.to/2scn5oJ?
