How to delete pictures off Verizon Cloud on my iPhone5?

I have gone to my Verizon cloud via my PC (My plans and services > My cloud media and contacts) and deleted all photos from it, then emptied the trash. They disappeared and appear deleted, but when I go to the Verizon Cloud app on my iphone 5, all of the pictures are still there. I can select and delete them an infinite number of times, because they never actually delete. I delete, it says it deleted, but they never go away. What do I have to do to get rid of them?
