So today marks the official launch of the iPhone 5 and already (though not surprised) there seems to mass confusion on the process it takes to transfer an iPhone 5 to another line (i.e Transferring the iPhone 5 to an Unlimited Data line). With that said, has anybody who has gone through this process have any success? If so please post your experience and the process it took to get the end result.
First, you should have checked the community for any similar discussions
For example...
Check out 'Just called trying to swap my Iphone 5 on another line on my family plan...' https://community.verizonwireless.com/thread/783299
Second, this is an iPhone 5 specific topic and belongs in the iPhone 5 space and not the general Apple space.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
Hi e_rs,
I know the first day always seems like a process. Working with new devices and SIM Cards can be tricky so I'm glad you came on here to check the details. The process to complete the line transfer can be found on http://support.verizonwireless.com/clc/devices/knowledge_base.html?id=65331. Let me know if you need assistance with anything else.
Thank you,
