I am have an Apple 6S plus and have been having trouble with service dropping intermittently. There does not seem to be any pattern of where it occurs or when. It has happened to my phone while i was riding with other Verizon users who experienced no issues. It happened today within a mile of my home while speaking to another Verizon moble user. Usually, I have to restart the phone to restore service, but occasionally, it will return on its own. When I asked a tech at the local Verizon store, he switched out the Sim card, but that did not help. Any ideas?
CHAKIR73, having a stable service near and around your home is always a must and we can certainly take a closer look to see what underline causes there may be. At any point in time, you can attempt to preform a reset on your Network Settings. To complete this step on an iPhone 6s Plus, please preform the following:
Settings> General> Reset> Reset Network Settings.
Additionally, are you seeing this issue during different parts of the day or only specific times?

Thank you for the reminder of how to get the service back once it has been lost. I have used it twice in the past 2 days. Unfortunately the issue occurs at different times of day, and at different locations. Yesterday, I was sitting in my vehicle, which was stationary, in a school parking lot. I have been in this situation/position sever times in the past with no issues. It has happened while I am playing music on my phone, and when I was doing nothing with my phone. It has happened while I was with other Verizon users who still had service, while I did not. A few weeks ago, it happened as I drove past the local Verizon store, and remained disconnected from service, while I was in the store. It is getting very frustrating. I do not plan on, or want to upgrade my phone at this time. I would like this one to work correctly.
CHAKIR73, I appreciate you following along. From here try removing and reinserting your SIM card. Please let us know if you see an improvement in your services.

CecileC_VZW, I removed and reinserted the SIM card as you recommended. In the past 3 days, I have still had to reset my phone because of "No Servioe" 4 times.
We certainly want your phone to work properly for you, CHARKIR73. We thank you for the steps that you have taken already to address that issue with service on your phone.
At this time the last thing to try on your phone is a factory reset. From the details you described on what is happening with your phone, the issue would not be related to our network since you get service after restarting it.
Before resetting your phone, you will want to ensure all your information is backed up, so you can reload it back to your phone afterwards. You can use Apple's iCloud or iTunes to save your information https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203977
Once you have your information saved, you can follow this link to get steps on restoring your phone with Apple https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201252
Please let us know how your phone works afterwards. We are confident that this will resolve this issue for you.
