I cannot restore my old contacts, is there another way?

I followed the steps by going to the app store > searching "VZ Contact Transfer" but there was no app by that name.  The closest result was the backup assistant app

If you're trying to restore your iPhone 5 from the backup of your 4 or 4S but I had the same problem that's why I resorted to Google hence why I have put a comment on here, I was trying to restore from backup on my iMac running OS X and had the same error, I backed up my 4S on my Dell laptop running Windows 7 and it worked then I synced my 5 on my iMac, after that I restored my 5 from the backup that I had just done.

This worked for me.
