I cannot send mail from my Iphone 4s. The notice reads: The user name or password for "SMTP:havandegrift@verizon.net@outgoing.verizon.net" is incorrect. How can I fix this problem?

I cannot send mail from my Iphone 4s.  The notice reads:  The user name or password for "SMTP:havandegrift@verizon.net@outgoing.verizon.net" is incorrect.  How can I fix this problem?

Well no email is no fun Hbav. I'll have you sending emails again in no time. It sounds like the outgoing mail server (SMTP) is not set up properly. For verizon.net email accunts, the SMTP server is just outgoing.verizon.net according to http://vz.to/RY7Eta, and not your full email address with it. Here's a great link from Apple on how to configure your SMTP server: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4519.
