I dropped my brand new iPhone 5 in water. What do I do?

I dropped my brand new iPhone 5 in water last week. The touch screen wouldn't work so I couldn't turn it off. I dried it well with paper and a hour later I figured out how to turn it off by holding the power key and menu key at the same time. It has been seating on a bowl of rice since. I tried to turn it back on a couple days later but it didn't work. I switched my account to my old cell phone so I can have a phone line. But my old cell phone is not a smartphone so I can't use the data plan that I am paying for.

What should I do?

You will also disconnect the wire and dry it out

put back togetter and may work.

Rice some time work if have it open.

When you get your new phone invest in a case.

Well.. you still have AppleCare on it. They'll replace it for you as long as you didn't void the warranty.
