1. Has anyone sent their phone to Apple for the $29.95 battery replacement deal?
2. Since I still have my older iPhone available to use, is it possible for Verizon to *temporarily* enable that one to use during the [potentially] 9 days it could be away?
3. What do other people do in a situation like this? I have no other options than to mail the phone to Apple, but I can't be incommunicado without a phone for that long.
Thanks
To answer your second question, simply remove your SIM card from your phone you are sending back and put it in your older device. This will allow you to use that phone while your battery is replaced.
Do you currently have insurance on this phone thru Verizon? If so, that coverage may lapse if you activate a different phone on the line.
