Multiple posts asking the same thing get removed. Ann154 is correct.
Also her answer to you is spot on. You have to have it unlocked *Before* and not after you leave the country.
To use a Brazilian sim the phone has to be unlocked by Verizon
You can just purchase another phone to use there and your problem is solved.
Do you currently have an account with Verizon? Is the iPhone activated on that account?
But asking it again will not change the fact Verizon will not unlock your phone if you are no longer a customer with them.
