The following is a text I received 12/6/14 from 900040001000 " Free Verizon Msg: Verizon appreciates your loyality. You are currently on the $60/3GB plan. You can now get an extra 3GB of data per month for the same price you pay now. There's no change to your voice plan or contract extension. Would you like to move to this new plan? If so, reply YES" Question: does this sound legit? I would get 6GB of data for the same price I now pay for 3GB?

Not according to the pricing mentioned on the vzw.com website. You can now get 10 gb for the same price as the old 6GB, but now it doesn't list an option for 6GB anymore
Don't reply to that text.

Yeah, I wouldn't reply to that. If you're really interested, give Verizon a call to verify?

That message, is in fact, from us and is valid. You can respond to it if you are interested in changing over your plan, or we can help out as well! Whatever you are more comfortable with! I hope that you have a great rest of your day!

I'd like to know why the previous response is flagged as "correct answer", when it is not.
The OP and Vzn both confirmed the authenticity of the offer. This same offer has been questioned and posted on this forum several times, and each time it has been confirmed.
Nicholasbranson - Loyalty offers or special promotions are not always listed on the website, so just knowing what is publicly available doesn't negate the validity of other offers .
