My iPhone 6s was not sending txt messages so I decided to shut it down and restart it. Now I cannot restart my phone. It is plugged into an apple charger, have tried using a different apple charger. I have pressed the power button until the apple logo comes back on- logo will appear for about 10 seconds and disappear. I have also tried pressing down the power button and the home button and the logo will appear for a few seconds and disappear. Anyone have any luck getting this back up again?!!

Great troubleshooting steps by power cycling the phone. I can imagine the concern with it not turning back on. Let's keep working on powering the phone on. Press and hold the power and home key at the same time. I know you have mentioned you have done this but let's try longer. You may need to hold for at least 30 seconds. Try this on and off the charger.

caraar, Robin has provided some good info. But if the iPhone still doesn't turn on. You may want to next try and see if iTunes can recover the iPhone. This link from Apple will have the procedure.
