How do I unmerge Icloud contacts.   I don't want nor need my mom's cellphone contacts listed on my phone.  And she doesn't need mine.   I thought we could use the same id & password for apple but doing so somehow merged our contacts.  And if I delete my contacts from my mom's phone, they are deleted from my phone too.

Help!

Take off each others icloud accounts. Then setup family share. Not all apps will be able to be shared(developer restriction).

we don't want to share anything.  i've created a separate icloud account for my mom but her phone contacts are still merging with mine

You have both accounts on a single phone. You have to remove your account from her phone.

Yes you have 2 phones, but one phone has BOTH your accounts. You have to remove one from that phone.
