I upgrded to iPhone 5 specfically so I could use my iPhone in countries where yPhone 4 service was unavailable.
I signed up for internationa Data Plan.
Guess what? No data!, except in a hotel with wi-fi,but nothing available when I need it, travelling, when I need a map.
And Verixon's "help" is a joke...supposed Chat Room never has an "available" person
no email help available that I can find
and the various 800 numbers and the *611 don't ring either, no matter what variation of 011, 1,prefixes I try
Any ideas???

No help here either apparently......the thing that really bugs me is that the "live chat help" is always "unavailable".
What country are you in?
Spain
From your phone, if it'll work, dial the plus sign, 1 908 559 4899. If your cell isn't working to dial out, from a landline, VZW provides a calling card to avoid international rates. You can call 800 099 357 (again, from a landline) and after the tone, enter the calling card #9085594899 and the pin #2392. After another tone, enter 0 908 559 4899. The global roaming hotline will then prompt you to put in your 10 digit cell number.
Either option will take you to the 24hr global tech support team so you don't need to worry about time zones or anything. Hope this helps
