Can I set my phone to notify me if I'm using an international signal?

Great question. In order to receive an international signal you have to have data roaming enabled.  When you are traveling internationally you will be roaming.  Verizon does not have towers outside of the United States.  There is no alert on your phone to alert you that you are roaming internationally.  Once you arrive in your international destination, you will get a text message from Verizon Wireless, welcoming you to your country that you are in and instructions on how to dial out. You will also receive a telephone number to help you with roaming support should you need it.  I hope you have a great trip!
