Iphone 4s messaging problems

People are either receiving my messages late or not receiving them at all. Also When im sending text it's saying failed. I need help!!

Check your setting on the phone. Under setting go to message. The ! Means it didn't go through there's a block on your friends phone or your own. Could be a network issue if your sending iMessage or phone issue.
