Iphone 5 with multiple issues, please help !

Bought my Iphone 5 brand new last September and been having quirks/issues ever since. Recently I have been experiencing dropped calls, & poor sound quality during calls - best way to describe it is as if the caller keeps coming in and out repeatedly. I cannot use SIRI because the mic does not work or won't recognize me. I also cannot put a call on speakerphone and have the caller hear me. If I plug it into my car & use it that way it works. My volume down button has stopped working altogether, i have to adjust volume at button of screen while playing media. Last but not least my phone has a mind of it's own and shuts down when least expected. This is my first Iphone and by far the most issues I have ever faced with any device!! Please help!!!
