Customer Support

We would be very interested in assisting you with your concern. We would like to ask you some questions so that we can get to the root cause. Does this only occur indoors, or does it occur outdoors as well? Do you know of any other Verizon Wireless customers in your area that are experiencing the same issue? You mentioned that you can use your Wi-Fi. Are you able to utilize data with your Wi-Fi turned off?

Re: Iphone 6 no phone or texts

Hi Ericasz, you don't by chance have Airplane mode turned "ON" ?

The iPhone 6s Plus iOS 9.2 with receive and make calls and also receive and send basic text messages even with Wi-Fi and Cellular & Enable LTE turned off in the Settings. But not when Airplane mode is turned on.

There may be a difference between the iPhone 6s plus and iPhone 6, but not sure, if they're running the same iOS 9.2?

Do follow up on Verizon's questions though if you find that Airplane mode doesn't pertain to this issue.
