Iphone msg. problem

Since I have done the recent updates my phone shows that I have a text msg but I don't. I have tried turning it off to reset it but this has not helped, anyone know how I can clear this?

I have had same issue, and it is with the iOS 7 update, when I called into Apple about issue and they told me to do a factory reset on the phone and that fixed it but make sure you back up your device bc the reset will delete everything out of the phone
