Is the 8GB iPhone 4 sold in Verizon stores?

So, after my Moto Droid croaked 2 days ago I decided that I would like to give the iPhone a try. Currently I am without a phone and I tried to get a replacement but since my warranty expired I would have to file an insurance claim with a $99 deductible for a refurbished phone. The thing is the original Droid barely sells for $100 on eBay so it would be a waste of money since I can upgrade and get a brand new phone.

I am pretty helpless without my phone (I do a lot of text messaging and I check my email quite frequently) so I am trying to get a new phone as soon as possible. I'd like to order the phone (8GB iPhone 4) online but I can't really go another 2-3 days without a phone. I would like to know if the Verizon stores carry this device. If they do, I will be there when they open their doors tomorrow morning to purchase the device. I've never paid attention to the iPhone section in the Verizon store so I'm unsure of it. Responses are appreciated.

Do you pay 6.99 for insurance because that includes extended warranty? I would get the 16gig 4s personally but I understand where ur coming from. Now they have them and there not in the iconic list so u could bill to account if u can pay it by the end of the next bill. U could use the $99 towards the phone or when u get the charge on the bill pay it then. Just another idea.
