Is the iPhone 6s screen repairable/replaceable?

Two days ago I purchased iPhone 6s with protective glass and holster at Verizon store in Twelve Oaks mall in Novi, Michigan. However, when a tiny crack appeared  under the glass on the screen, got a classic run around by Verizon.

Wow, what a big bummer. I'm so sorry to learn that the screen on your new phone has a crack in it.

I don't like being the bearer of bad news, but a cracked screen is not something that is covered by the warranty. Did you happen to add insurance to the device? You can then file a claim for it 888-881-2622 or phoneclaim.com/verizon if you did not opt in for the insurance, did you get Applecare for it?
