Just wondering....if a Main Contract Holder finishes his two year contract and stops service, what happens to all the other people attached to his Main Cell Phone Service? Do they finish their 2-year contract as single contract holders under their own cell-phone number?
Thank you.

It would still be a family plan in the original account holder's name but with one less line. To put the account in someone else's name or to break apart into separate single line plans, you'd have to do an assumption of liability.

If everyone on the plan goes month-to-month (after the initial 2 years), I would assume that they all can leave for separate plans. Is this correct?
DeeCT, let's put your assumptions to rest. Once you have fulfilled the two year agreements on your lines, those lines will be on a month to month basis. However, the authorized users of those lines can assume responsibility of those lines. This is called an Assumption of Liability.
