Messages+ not working on Monterey MacOS 12.0.1

I just updated my MacAir with Monterey 12.0.1.  My Messages + app now is not working.  Any HELP from Verizon would be appreciated.

I found this in another thread.  This worked for me...

I was able to get it working on macOS Monterey (12.0.1) by changing this setting:
Security & Privacy -> Privacy -> Contacts: Uncheck "Message+"

You lose the contacts sync but other than that it functions.

Have you tried uninstalling and attempting a re-install?  If it isn't compatible the App Store may tell you that.  Hopefully a Verizon agent will assist here.

I un-installed and re-installed and it's still crashing.  It would be great for Verizon to chime in.

your response is generic for iphone and ipad .not Mac computer...the problem is on MAC computer app ...Having same issue after upgrading to Monterey 12.1. Your timely response on this is greatly appreciated. Thanks Long Time Verizon Customer for now!

I have been having the same issue.  When will Verizon fix this?

Upon launching the App, it crashes.  A restart does not help on the app.

A restart on the Mac does not help.

An uninstall and reinstall does not help.

Crash Stats have been sent multiple times.

Same issues. Starting the app, it crashes immediately. 

Verizon message+ app from the Mac Ap Store, and it didn't say anything is not compatible. On a MacBook Air M1 and macOS 12.1.

Repeat install/uninstall/reboots do nothing. 

Very frustrating. Nobody seems to care or has expertise on a fix or explanation for macOS devices.
