My iPhone 7 Plus has terrible sound quality. Why? Bluetooth, headsets, speaker are all the same poor quality? What can I do?

Called tesuppor, 2.5 hours on the phone, awful experience...probably the worst in a long time. They suggested that I reset my setting. At the end of the call, they told me to go to a Verizon store.
