My lock button is stuck, will Verizon give me a new one?

I had my phone in an Otter Box case and no liquid got inside but my lock button is stuck and only works half of the time. Will Verizon or Apple replace it?

They will not because of the water damage if there is any.

If it did get some water on it and it tripped one of the water indicators it'll void the warranty. If there is nothing of that sort and you are within your 1 year warranty Apple or Verizon will replace the phone. If outside the warranty Apple will preform an out of warranty repair.
