I dropped my phone into some cocktails sauce last night and I am having a bit of trouble with it now. People can hear me but I can't hear them on my phone. It keeps saying that the "headset" is on and it's not. Anyone have any idea what I can do to fix this issue...unfortunately I don't have insurance on the phone
You might try cleaning it with 91% Isopropyl Alcohol particularly around the openings. But don't hold out much hope.
You may want to make an appointment at the Genius Bar and have them give you an estimate.

Oh no! I am sorry to hear about your phone. I know having a properly working device is important. Are you eligible for an upgrade? Dial #UPG from your cellphone. Have you tried letting the device completely dry, or placing the device in rice?
