Why are you advertising 1 extra gig for $5 for moving to the SMALL plan, when it really costs $35? Your advertising is unclear. Please clarify.
Thank you

The old plan at 1 GB for $30. The new plan starts at 2 GB for $35.
With the new plan starting cost is $5, but you get an extra GB for that $5

I hope you'll post after your next bill. I'm considering the same move, but last time I accepted one of their 'deals', it completely changed my plan and I was billed for previously free services (essentially I lost my previous plan). I'm hesitant to take advantage of this.

Generally, changing your plan DOES mean no going back to an older, legacy plan. What plan are you on now, and what plan do you want to move TO? What free services do you have now that you think might be lost if you switch?

Yes, that is the idea. You are switching plans. In my case, I went from 30 GB to 24 GB, gained carryover and overage protection with safety mode, and got calling in and to Canada and Mexico and saved $5/month. Within a few months I was offered 2 GB bonus per smartphone line, so now I have 32 GB. I was able to keep 25 GB cloud storage per line even though it is now 5GB per line on the new Verizon Plan.
Dont fear changing, but don't change blindly. Each change I make is after researching and asking questions here. Not every change will be good for you but many will be. I knew the outcome before the change, there is no surprises if you understand everything.
