No Service in London

Hi-

I arrived in London from the U.S. This morning. My phone initially had spotty service but then disconnected from networks and now says No Service regardless of what I do. I have tried soft and hard restarts and reset to factory network settings. I can't dial *228 because I only have Wifi but no service. Please help!

We are traveling in London as well and just learned from the international support folks that there is a known global roaming outage.  They indicated that VZW is working with their roaming partners to resolve this critical issue such that they are no longer taking individual trouble tickets.  Stay tuned...

Also for reference I have toggled LTE off and on and have international CMDA turned off and data and voice roaming turned on

I know how important it is to have service, Cakkc. Especially when traveling. Did you activate a Global plan before leaving the U.S.? Which phone do you have? If you did a Hard Reset, it may need to be reprogrammed, but while in the U.S. For the best and fastest assistance, it would be best to reach out to Global Support. My daughter was in London for a semester recently and took her iPhone. When she got there she bought a pre-paid SIM card from EE and it worked flawlessly. All 4G Verizon phones come unlocked on the GSM side so popping in a SIM card from a local provided takes all of about 2 minutes. Highly recommended.
