No volume on iPhone 7

Just got my phone last night.  The speaker volume, on incoming calls, is like zero.  Can barely hear anyone.  Ringer volume and music volume is fine.  But gee I cannot hardly hear anyone on the other end of a call.  Its like they are whispering

Did you remove the clear plastic film from your device? Sounds like a dumb question but it happens more often than you may think. Have you checked to make sure Volume Limit isn't active (check Settings and Music to see). If you feel like it's a defect you can always contact Apple (or go to a local Apple Store if available ). If you ordered online from Verizon you can contact them since you're in your 14 days. Only problem might be if they don't have a replacement available. If you purchased in a store go back to that store and see if they can troubleshoot and/or exchange it under the 14 day return/exchange policy but again...its possible they don't have a replacement
