Non-VZW Device error - help!

Hi I'm having an issue that I would love help with. I have an iPhone 5 I black | 32gb. I took my SIM card out the other day to take a look at it. After I put it back in, it is now it's telling me my iPhone is a NON-VZW Recognized Phone on My Verizon Website. It also shows up that way on Apple’s website. I am eligible for an upgrade and being that my phone is showing as an unrecognized number/iPhone, I am concerned. Could you show me how to fix this so my phone will be recognized?

Hi Deanshortland,

Oh my! Device errors are awful, so lets get this fixed. Have you tried wiping off the contacts on the Sim Card to ensure that there are debris on the card? Next please click on the link and make sure that you are placing the sim card back in the device properly .
