Not receiving SMS texts from businesses.

Just switched from AT&T to Verizon. Now, all of a sudden, I am not receiving any texts from businesses or for accounts that send me a verification text. I am receiving text from my contacts,  but not business -- SMS 4-7 digits texts, etc.

Need to resolve this ASAP.

What gives, Verizon?

Welcome to the Verizon Wireless family, we are so excited to have you join in. It saddens me to hear of the difficulties that you have experienced with porting your number. The entire port process can take up to 72 hours to complete and update all services. 
Are outgoing calls and incoming calls working? 

When did the port complete?
