Order cancelled

Like many others I woke up early to preorder the iPhone, the order was cancelled due to potential fraid, after submitting documents to prove that it was me, the rep said it will restore the original order, after waiting several hours the order status still showed cancelled, so another rep said I had to reorder the phone, so I went from getting the phone 11/3 to receiving it 12/1, I understand and appreciate that Verizon takes their responsibility to prevent identity theft very seriously, but to me their whole system seems flawed, rather than flagging it when I order the phone and letting me call to set everything straight they wait 4 days to tell me that it’s cancelled and now I have to wait a month to recieve it. Any ideas on how to receive it sooner?

Go to the store early on release day and try to be one of the first in line.

That's why it's a good idea to notify your CC company prior to ordering so that they don't flag the charge as a possible fraud related and put a hold on the transaction.
