If you didn't order the iPhone5 on the line with the unlimited data plan then the unlimited data plan isn't affected. Line A is eligible for an upgrade. You transferred the upgrade to Line B. The contract is extended on Line A. You activate the phone on Line B.
Why do people not understand this?

I dont see why it would matter. As long as the phone isnt activated I should be able to switch the upgrade to any plan I want. So say I tell them it was a mistake and I want it for line A not line B so I activate on line A then a week later I switch it to line B and that would be like me buying a phone outright.
