I have poor reception, cut offs, scratchy or no rings on incoming calls. On my 10x. Sometimes it’s 1 bar at my house at times. Didn’t have  this with my 6

Walk around till you get the most bars (3 hopefully). Then restart the iPhone. Doing with data enabled at least 3G, 4G is better, may help to update voice network capability.
