Recovering Text Messages on iPhone

I just recently bought the iPhone 7 (switching from the Samsung Galaxy 6 Edge Plus). I saved my text messages to Verizon Cloud. However, I am unable to see them on my iPhone. I do not see an area where I can restore my messages. Is that possible with the iPhone?
