Smart Family

We are using Smart Family to limit kid's phone to 20 trusted contacts. However, she wants to text one friend to her email and this doesn't seem to work. Can this be done? Smart Family only allows phone numbers to be entered and not an email.

I can understand your desire to grant one contact through the Smart Family application. Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your concern, Dwaggoner1. The Smart Family doesn't monitor emails. Verizon Smart Family assists with the following:

-Use content filtering
-Limit and monitor calls, texts and purchases
-Monitor web and app activity
-Pause the internet
-Use location tracking and check-in features (Verizon Smart -Family Premium)
-Only smartphones are currently supported.
