Sold iPhone 4 after purchasing IPhone 6

I got a new IPhone 6. I deleted my iCloud acct on my old IPhone 4. Was it ok that I sold my IPhone 4 to a stranger? Is that risky?

Congratulations on your new iPhone 6, Hatteras. I understand your concern with selling your device to a stranger. You took great steps by deleting your iCloud account. Did you also complete a factory reset which would erase all of your content? Once your information has been erased from the device, the next person who uses it will not have access to your content.
