***Announcement: Early next week, we’ll be merging the current Fios and Wireless Communities into the all new Verizon Community! Beginning the evening of Sunday 12/4, both Communities will be placed in read-only mode. You’ll still be able to visit the Communities and browse content, but login will be disabled. Sound Issues

I dropped my phone and now it won't ring or sound any alerts.  I can preview sounds and listen to music.  Ringer works over blue tooth. I have check all settings and everything is set right.   Any ideas?

I'm so sorry to learn that your phone took a tumble. Let's make sure we review all options together! It may possibly be damage to the ringer of the device.

Additionally, there's a small switch on the left side of the phone that may have turned to active. It will display as an orange strip if activated, you will want to turn it to the silver strip. Here's more information: http://vz.to/1agxNaa

Thankyou so much!  It was as simple as flpping a switch on the left side of the phone!  I didn't even know about that switch because I put my phone in a Otter Box right away and didn't really explore the buttons!  Phone fixed!
